Announcing New Alien8 Artist: Blessure Grave

We are very happy to welcome San Diego band Blessure Grave to Alien8 Recordings with their debut full-length Judged By 12, Carried By 6, coming in Feb 2010. We will be including the band’s Learn To Love the Rope EP, originally a vinyl-only offering on Captured Tracks, as part of the CD release.

Blessure Grave consists of primary members Reyna Kay and T Grave who are now joined by Jacob Turnbloom, Sean Lotte, and Nick Friesen. Citing Killing Joke, Death in June, March Violets and the Cure as influences the band combines elements of the goth, post punk and neo folk genres, but recorded in some black metal bands dungeon for maximum fog at dusk fidelity. Recently the band finds itself pulling away from the lofi trend of recent months into something entirely their own. Out of the bedroom and into the night.
